  • Details

    Audio Scan

    To switch the Audio Scan Basic Unit on use the on/off switch (2). The Audio Scan Basic Unit works immediately, the red/green LED (7) indicates the current speed.

    Plug your Headphones into the Headphone Socket (4). If you prefer to use Headphones other than those provided, ensure that they have been fitted with a standard 3.5mm male headphone plug. Adjust the Speed and the Volume as necessary.

    The headphone can be plugged in all the time.

    Tactile Device

    Plug the Tactile Unit (8) into the socket (5). The Tactile Unit should work immediately with the red/green LED (7) indicating the current speed. To adjust the speed and the intensity of the vibration, use the speed control (1) and the vibration control (6). Please turn both controls slowly because there is a time delay in the microprocessor.

    You can use the Tactile Unit in conjunction with the Audio Scan or independently.

    The tactile device draws a lot more current than the acoustic stimulation. If the clicks are still loud and clear but the tactile device vibrating weakly then it is necessary to change the battery.


    Changing the battery

    Open the battery flap at the back of the device. Replace the 9-V battery with a new one. You can use rechargeable batteries. Don’t pull at the wires of the battery clip.

    Please observe the polarity of the battery! Put the flap back on.



    Care and Cleaning

    We recommend cleaning your EMDR Equipments with a soft dry cloth or a computer cleaning wipe
    To maintain a high standard of hygiene you can wipe the Tactile Units with an antiseptic wipe after each client
    Do not use abrasive cleaning material as these will damage the surface finish
    Do not clean any part under running water or with any other lubrication
